They Can What It Seems They Cannot

Done in collaboration as The Black Doctors.

The third in a series of four digital EP releases Nashville band How I Became the Bomb. This is actually a last minute cover idea that I came up with the night before the release was supposed to go live. Jamie and I had collaborated on a cover for a few days and come up with a nice cover image but something about it didn't feel right. Upon listening to the music for the release I realized our image was too morbid in comparison to the love theme of the disc - so I scrambled this cover together and pow-wow'ed with Jamie late night to get all the details hammered out. I think the result is a striking, memorable, image that fits the subject matter of the music pretty appropriately.

Many thanks to Josh Stafford and Karla Bailey for being my models.
