We Own This Town Relaunch

http://www.weownthistown.net

We Own This Town is a Nashville based music blog / event listing service that I curate. I adopted the site a few years ago and immediately cleaned up some of the HTML / structure of the site but never gave it a full facelift until this iteration.

After doing some user research I found that most people just use the site for the show listings on the right sidebar so I tried to clean that up and make it easier to read (as well as contain some more informative factoids about upcoming releases). The center blog is the visual focus but really doesn't get updated that often.. I should probably have downplayed it as the main content but it's a good way to drive myself to actually post more.

Long story short, I redesigned the site and am pretty proud of how it turned out - particularly for being powered entirely by Wordpress.
