Through Adversity To The Stars

Done in collaboration as The Black Doctors.

The fourth, and final, in a series of four digital EP releases Nashville band How I Became the Bomb. While shooting images for the previous cover, Jamie and I had taken an impromptu tour of the Grand Lodge of Freemasonry in downtown Nashville. The small meeting room on the top floor struck me as the perfect place for another striking image. The subject matter didn't really matter - you could put a clown in this room and it would look eerie and engaging. Mix that notion with a great photographer (Blake McClure) and my friend Keith looking oddly creepy and you've got a great mix!

I admit that someone other than myself sitting in the chair would have probably been a better choice but I wanted to work myself into one of the cover images before this series ended, this was my last chance.

The music on this one is a great three songs if you're not familiar with the band. Two nice spacey indie pop songs and one funny / odd / weird song; a nice summary of the band.

You can download the EP for free here.
