Local Nashville band Hotpipes approached me to put together a site for them as they were going to be played on an upcoming episode of Gossip Girl and feared that having only a Myspace page would be detrimental to people finding out more about them (potentially). Unfortunately this was brought to the table in a very small window of time before they wanted the site done so I was unable to deliver an immersive site experience like the band wanted. However, had I been approached to make a full-on huge immersive site, I likely would have passed entirely.

From a technical standpoint I am really happy with how the site is powered. It's nothing groundbreaking but I like having the shows / news powered by outside sources so that the band can update the information and I don't have to build an entire CMS system to keep it up to date. I will continue to investigate this approach for bands site until I figure out a way for a site to be entirely powered by other services.
