Up in the Air
The interactive balloon surface.
Interactive design defining new spaces in Happy New Year party by using a huge surface balloon which allows people to interact with it by remote control, making it change its color. The surface balloon also acts like a fluid background for animation show and acts like an equalizer illustration showing how loud the music is as in most music player programs.

Worked as a pioneer of the project, generating its original idea and do all the works to get this idea done physically.

6 Finalists The New Thai Police Box Competition
The police should stand aside the people. But in this modern context, it seems the police can’t contact with the people much.
This project was to create a new Thai police box under the concept that the police should contact with people easier than before. The police box contained a wall that acts like a screen for a projector inside the police box. And this ‘wall’ will display some texts or some sentences to contact with the passing by people in real time.

The World War II had been suffering people in Hiroshima and also in the whole Japan for 65 years. The pain forced Japanese people to help rebuild their nation to be one of the strongest nations in the world today. Unfortunately, the globalization in this modern day has erased the spirits of the nation out of Japanese young generation.
The daily lives of Japanese people are contained with extremely stress. Its people seem to forget the spirits of the nation. They just want to work as hard as possible to gain money and success rapidly. Everyday they have to get to their offices by using super crowded mass transportation with such hurry. This mess makes the young Japanese forget how to live a peaceful life with other people. These reasons cause the process of urban reading to create new architectural program that will encourage Japanese people to get back in touch with the past in positive way and to chill themselves out before going to offices.
The recall is presented through spaces with variety of materials such as raw concrete and bark glass. The tighten space, its silence penetrating in complicated context, and the light at the end of the space help enlighten people who enter it.
