This 40 minute film explores a 2011 New York City storytelling project by Ping Chong + Company whose aim was to give public voice to adult survivors of child sexual abuse, as a means of breaking the silence around what is normally an isolating, silent epidemic. The film uses the play as a platform for exploring diverse testimony, weaving together short animated spaces, expert interviews, with observational footage of the cast as they bravely approach their family members about their process of healing. A collaboration between Whistle Films and the internationally acclaimed Ping Chong + Company, with animation by artist, Blake Douglas Young and support by the Ms. Foundation for Women.
