BMW The Secret Life of Cars

Overview

When an oncoming car blinks its headlights, do you feel as though it just winked at you? Psychologists call this phenomenon “somatomorphism” one of the many explained in The Secret Life of Cars – a BMW media report consisting of illustrations, interviews and socially

sourced material. I undertook the roll of Art Directing a book titled ‘The Secret Life of Cars.’ Commissioning illustrators and copywriters, the Secret Life of Cars Won First Prize at NewYork Art Directors Club Award in 2009.

Woolies HQ

Overview

The sad loss of Woolworths on the high street paved an interesting online revival. The role that I undertook was to introduce Woolies HQ and in turn show that it is still very much alive as a brand. This was achieved by an

exciting Woolies environment showcasing the various activities, people and promotions. These were all brought to life with playful illustration and a revised tone of voice.

M&S TrendEdit

Overview

In Spring 2011, M&S revealed a new capsule collection. The task was to create an interactive catwalk for that collection. My role was to Art Direct both the photoshoot and video shoot and then to create an online catwalk experience.

Users are introduced to a model walking on the catwalk and are invited to scroll between key pieces. The scrolling results in the seamless change of video and the models clothes. Outfits from the video link directly to the M&S onlne shop.
