About
Welcome to Division, the folio site of Divya Viswanathan.
Moving from static image to motion picture to interaction and user experience, my portfolio is a random sampling of the kinds of projects I have created or been a part of over the past 6 years. Most of the projects showcased have been from more recent times, given that I feel a stronger sense of relevance and propensity towards those concepts. The older ones are mostly experiments is different mediums, and are more exploratory and experimental in nature. This does not in any way make them less important in my growth as a designer and researcher, they just have a different focus.
While unfortunately I am not at liberty to share with you most of the work that I am part of while at Nokia Research Center, I have selected certain projects that are of relevance to my growth as a designer and researcher. In my work at Nokia I have had the opportunity to work with stakeholders from as top-level as Govt. to as rooted as children and individuals who will hopefully see the direct impact of our interventions.
I hope you will be able to look to through all the projects, and tell me what you feel, if any of them speak to you.
Curiosity, Investigation & Immersion are my tools, and I hope the stories over here have in some way captured those values.
I'm also occasionally at http://vdiv.tumblr.com/
