Images is a graphic design studio in with its roots in commercial photography. After undergoing various transformations through several decades, it wanted to redesign its website to reflect its direction in the online medium. Involvement started with establishing an information architecture and implementing a content management system. The graphics reflect its history in photography and bring them into the digital by using pixels, but by using scale it avoided falling too far into the ‘pixel art’ style.
DuraGro is an equipment manufacturer with its first products in the organic agriculture market. The mark embodies the simple action of one object interacting with another, thus changing its form. It is also the shape in reverse of the primary piece of equipment which is used to create agricultural beds. Its Raised Bed System was developed to bring the advancements of conventional farming to sustainable farming.
The Rock on Campus is a chaplain service with chapters in colleges throughout Ontario. They wanted a brand that was contemporary yet approachable for today’s youth. In conjunction with the client we abbreviated the organization’s name to ROC and chose a typeface that’s modern yet friendly. Though spiritual care is provided upon request, ROC focuses on building friendships with those struggling to adapt to the student life. The graphics represent the diversity within colleges and the intersections that the organization intends to form. Secondary graphics further illustrate the weaving pattern of relationships that forge the fabric of life.

A few spreads from my entry to the 2010 Rethink Scholarship, which were featured in their entries showcase video. The brief was open with simply needing to convey ones ideas, passion and creativity in a classic black sketchbook. I chose to explore the subject of coffee with observations, social experiments and conceptualizing an idea for a new coffeehouse.

Flash application coded in ActionScript 3.0 for a custom built multi-touch table using an object-oriented programming paradigm. The idea originated from my days in high school when I would constantly finger drum on my desk.
