My goal as a drawer is to mimic the phenomenon of nephelococcygia, cloud watching aka seeing familiar images in clouds, but with something more unexpected and over looked. Which happens to be the complex crumples that tshirts produce with certain lighting. I mold/sculpt the tshirt folds into what ever composition of directional lines i want, hit it with a specific direction of lighting and then just go at it strategically, but having to do it first try with color pencil, meaning no erasing available. I have just finished a series of black and white fabric drawings and have now started a series in local color. I prefer taking the time to really zone out to these, looking past the drawing yet focusing on "the image of looking past the drawing" to truly experience cloud watching at its best. It is all up to your imagination to make these your own :) enjoy
