If you've not yet pointed your Cargo Custom URL to our new server as noted in our reminder emails about this, please do so at your earliest convenience. (If you're not using a Custom URL for your Cargo website, disregard this.)
To prevent interruption of service, complete this by May 31, 2010. At that time we'll be retiring the server: your custom URL will no longer work unless you make this change.
To update your A Records with our new IP Address, login to your registrar's control panel and edit your domain's DNS Settings: find Cargo's old IP address (72.32.147.161) and replace it with the new one:
173.203.204.123
You may need to update the IP Address in two places. This change can take up to 24 hours to take effect. For more info, help and instructions, please refer to this post.
hi, i just checked my dns a records settings, and turns out it's already pointing to the new IP address, how did this happen automatically? so now i don't have to change anything right? oh and also does this explain why some people said they couldn't access my site a couple of days ago? because it was being moved to the new address?
It would have been nice to get a heads up about domain pointing for your new server....I didn't even get an email from you guys regarding this change...I found out that my site was inactive from someone that was trying to access it...just made the updates...hope they work....super lame.
although I am not using a Custom URL for my Cargo website, some people said they couldn't access my site ? I also tried and cant access mine and my friends as well.. what should I do?
although I am not using a Custom URL for my Cargo website, when click on my thumbnails it sends me to the general cargo web site? what could be the problem? could you please help me? my friend also have the same problem..
Hi all. I just searched my e-mails. As some other users commented, I never received notification of this, nor have I received anything from you since the activation e-mail of January 12, 2010. I'm concerned that I might not receive future important e-mails, as well. Please check that your outgoing systems are firing on all cylinders. My incoming has otherwise worked fine.
Other than that, I'm still quite happy with the site.
Justin - this only affected users who had their domains still pointed to Cargo's old IP address. If you did not have an active domain pointing to the old address, you would have not received this message.
thanks my web site : http://www.mortenson.fr/ Maybe i can send you a picture of my dns setings on OVH but i don't know how put a picture in this comment Sorry guys i am not very good at it :)
I updated the IP address when the email went out and it seemed to work, but now I can't access my site. I'm getting a page that says "maureensetsma.com domain awaiting provisioning".
