The Project Daybook consists of a spine that allows the addition of more sections, a timeline, semi-opaque stickers (that line up to the dots) for outlining important dates and events, double sided tape strips for easy scrapbooking.

Sections include monthly planners and dotted papers that stick to the spine by simply sticking them on (strong double sided tape is attached to each signature in the centerfolds).

The nature of this work showcases the danger, absurdity and finally the irrelevance of a utopian ideal. During the exhibition private view, water drips in the frame to destroy the logo and manifesto. A large tube is installed within the frame to slowly release water, gradually eroding the ink on ink-jet transparency. Water reacts with chemicals on the transparency to form a gooey substance. The work hopes to effect a false state of calm, but within every utopia lies its personal dystopia.

The piece on the left was bought by a private buyer at the exhibition. The video shown is the re-enactment of the happening at the private view.
