Steve Dodds has been writing professionally for over 25 years, although the proper use of commas still eludes him. Fortunately, he works mostly in advertising where the proper use of commas is at best murky.

In between manipulating your psyche, he has written three books: Fiddlesticks, a poignant tale of love, loss and strippers; Clyde’s Tale, a poignant tale of love, loss and JD Salinger; and Percy, a poignant tale of love, loss and fur.

When not creating poignant but unsuccessful novels, he designs interiors, furniture and speakers. He also has designs on world domination but they are still in the embryonic stage.

Currently he can be found in Sydney, usually at the Cricketer’s Arms Hotel in Surry Hills, and especially at Happy Hour, 5-7PM Mon to Fri.

Steve lives with an imaginary horse who nags him, a cat who ignores him, another cat who doubts his existence, and an evil mean sorceress with a pretty nose.

He promises to stop using faux third-person now.
