About the Studio

Our studio offers quality traditional cel animation at a surprisingly affordable price, usually considerably below the cost of 3D CGI animation. Our crew is committed to exploiting the hand-drawn art form to its fullest potential, and we are eager to take on projects that challenge us to build believable characters with appealing acting, to paint enchanting backgrounds with lush and vibrant depth and expression, to time humorous moments with snap and wit.

Some people believe that hand-drawn animation is too expensive and time-consuming to be practical for projects on a budget. Nothing could be further from the truth! With lower IT costs, less tech overhead, and less work lost to computer glitches, incompatibility between versions of software, and no need for costly technical directors on the staff, you may be surprised at the cost-benefits equation you can derive from the simplicity of pencils and paper, the same technology behind all of the top-selling classic animated videos of all time!

We cut out the part of 2D, hand-drawn animation that was depreciating the quality and control of late 90s cartoons: The off-shoring. Our work is all done in-house under close supervision of our directors who are scholars of traditional animation. That way, we can avoid the “cheap” look that even many higher-budget cartoons began to show in prior decades. Saving time on the shipping to foreign contractor studios actually saves considerable time on our production schedules. Keeping all the work close to home also helps the local economy, an issue that our studio supports.
