After living in the very damp Pacific Northwest, I decided that I missed the sunlight too much to stick it out in Portland so I picked up and moved out to Austin where I live and work as a designer at Pearson. Thanks for stopping by.
I'm from a small town on the coast of North Carolina. I studied Pharmacy in college, but spent most of my days drawing in my notebooks. So I left the micro-biology books behind and picked up a pen. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Appalachian State University and shortly after moved to Portland, Oregon where I worked as an illustrator with HappyLucky. I moved to Austin, Texas in the Spring of 2011
and set up camp. I predominately work with character design for publishing and web. Aside from work, I read a lot of books, I have two gigantic fluffy cats named "mittens" and "socks" and am a sub-par golfer. That's enough about me, so what about you?
