This is my second year final animation project. It was made in conjunction with other students in the class as a collaborative omnibus where we are each given a starting and ending frame, and everything that happens in-between is decided by us.

Software : Adobe Photoshop CS4, AfterEffects CS4, Premiere CS4
Sound & Foley: Sitji Chou
Voice: Nic Parker

The prompt for this project was to create an animation based on the idea of a reptile brushing his/her teeth. It was a thoroughly rewarding project since I've wanted to try a painterly style of animation for a while - to determine how much detail I could manage on a tight timeline.

We were asked to do an animation of our neighbour eating spaghetti, but having trouble with the utensils. This prompt was really specific, but it allowed me to try a more graphic, puppet-based style that looks like it was made with old film.

The challenge for this piece was to create an animation to music, without drawing. I decided to make paper forms and do some simple replacement animation.
