In Western culture high education and a working career are considered to be the mark of prosperity and success. Dress codes may give away social status.

This collection is inspired from traditional scarification in some African tribes, where pattern of scars symbolizes social status and achievements. Fascinated by the contrast between these symbols of status and the symbols of status surrounding us in the western world, I have used the pretty scarification patterns as a décor in the powerdressing for the modern women. These clothes are made to present the smart women and tell her story.
