Irish producer, marketer and film distribution geek with industry experience on both sides of the Atlantic.
Most recently I've worked with Participant Media in Los Angeles on cause marketing strategies and awards campaigns for Academy Award® Best Picture winner Spotlight, The Look of Silence, Bridge of Spies, Beasts of No Nation, He Named Me Malala, and 3 1/2 Minutes Ten Bullets. I've also worked in production, post, acquisitions and international sales in previous jobs.
With a resultantly diverse and integrated set of knowledge, skills and contacts, I think laterally across each stage of the film process to try and connect audiences with great independent filmmakers and their work. I'm continually fascinated, driven, and inspired by innovations in this rapidly evolving landscape. Currently I'm interested in how new technologies can combine with film to have an impact on a social, political and environmental level.
I hold a BA in Film & Television Production, 1st Class Honours from the National Film School at IADT. I am also a 2013 producing graduate of the ENGAGE Project.
