Project Brief
Final outcome of my major project undertaken as part of my Postgraduate course at the LCC in London. It was developed based on the guidelines set in our Project Brief as well as my previously defined research question:

"How can I effectively use elements of Graphic design to present a usually drily presented, historic topic in a more engaging way to enhance its use in education?"

Outcome
The outcome was a designed and partially self-written editorial piece, geared towards more senior pupils (14-?). With the goal of presenting this seemingly 'boring' topic in a more appealing way, I used a more contemporary design style in combination with expressive images and additional pieces (map, timeline) to create an effective interactive, educational piece.

More Details
It was printed on Colour Plan Bright White 135gsm by GF Smith, featured inlays in Accent Smooth and was bound by Shepherds, London.

Supporting Material
Submitted as part of the Book-package. The purpose of map and timeline is to enhance comprehension and interactivity with my book. To ensure consistency both pieces have the same width as my original piece to allow placement below or above the book.

Exhibition Poster
Used as A2 poster during final Exhibition at College.
