Concept:
Turning type into a clock
The idea was to create some sort of encrypted typographic signage system.
From this system, it would be theoretically possible (with the guidance of a chart) to establish to the minute, the time a piece of work was done.
While it would mainly be an experimental typographic indulgence this could have some rather interesting uses and references to communication like gangland signs, timekeeping or even encrypted instructions.
Flash mobbing (large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, do something unusual for a brief period of time, and then quickly disperse) for example would be facilitated by the usage of this alphabet. This way a location would be typed and the date set within the typeface and all those involved would be informed without alerting the rest.
