Futuristic Films produces motion pictures for a variety of different mediums and Legwork was tasked with creating a new portfolio site to represent the company. If you take a look at the top screen for this project you can see an initial sketch of a concept around an interactive data visualization that would have served as a tool to sort and browse their portfolio. In the end though, this site evolved in to a vision that was much more in tune with nature and being green, Futuristic's core company values. Thanks to Andy McIntosh, we built this site with Flex 3 and Mate which allowed us to get a basic framework built in a matter of days (Andy actually has a book published about programming interfaces in Flex you should check out). My roles on this project included creative direction and interface design. I also designed and programmed a simple version of this site optimized for the iPhone and a few other mobile devices.
