This was a really fun project I worked on at Legwork. Our focus was centered on adding a huge plethora of content while maintaining the brand essence already in place. A primary goal with this site was to capture email addresses. So, we concepted, directed and shot a series of mini-documentaries of Vision athletes and artists that play full screen on a page they can update themselves, created an interactive archive of the rich historical assets from the brand, set up a page for giveaways and contests, created a jukebox with an embeddable player, created a unique system to browse products and made all of these things simple to share with friends.
From a technical perspective, we built a totally custom CMS that allows Vision to keep everything up to date and even make their edits directly on the page. The front end uses a unique hybrid of Javascript, XHTML and even a bit of Flash (for video and music) that doesn't sacrifice SEO and accessibility. My roles included creative direction, art direction and design.
