M-Alicia is a Mediterranean culinary experience for a wide variety of audiences. The visitors center allows for people visiting the region to stumble upon the history, diversity and future of Mediterranean cuisine. Instructional areas allow for visitors, students and professionals to gain and expand their expertise on the culinary arts of the region. Recording studios allow for TV broadcasts before live audiences.

As the knowledge taught in the building draws from the countries of the region, the buildings form is generated by lines connecting the site to other Mediterranean countries.
