Clearing out the last of my moving boxes as I settle in Cleveland, I found this oldie but goodie. It was my last roll of super 8 sound film back at the end of 1999.

My most awesome father, Peter Einar Hanssen, passed away on March 20. Nothing to say about it yet. Here's a little video document from last year.

I relocated to Ohio this month. Very excited to be part of the Cleveland International Film Festival and get to know the Northeast Ohio film community.

Gearing up for the big move to Ohio. Among other things, I have mixed feelings about saying goodbye to the Park Slope Food Coop (organic local food at great savings and a horrible shopping experience every time) but I am looking forward to a weekly shop at Cleveland's West Side Market.

Last year a friend introduced me to Kara Hayden. She is doing a portrait project with kids and she took some great photos of ours. She came back this year for round two. Here is a sneak peak.

Began working on a time capsule video for my third child. This one will be more informative. I am collecting images that deal with my family history like these.
