Design Museum 2008
An illustration piece I attempted for the Design Museum competition set in January 2008. I was one of the ten winners under the illustration category.
This is a continuation from the Design Museum competition I attempted in January 2008. This was an opportunity to turn my drawing into design.
I wanted to create a map which could be carried around, to be seen by people. If people lose their way, they can refer to the map on the bag. A solid, bold colour represents the Design Museum, making this building stand out against a beautiful black and white illustration.
I made my drawing into a square print which can be used in many contemporary fashion accessories such as canvas bags or T-shirts. This design is available in a range of colours.
