We translated the social networking site, Pinterest, into a board game. Inspired by Scrabble, the rules of the game are to place your "pins" (cards) to form categories and whole systems of organization on the board. The players come up with their own names for the categories, so the game allows the players to be as creative as they want. The restrictions of the grid keep categories from becoming too full, and encourage players to form new categories. As the game goes on, categories modify and grow as the players collaborate to create a board of imagery connections, just as the site Pinterest does for its users.
