		<description>TypeCon is an annual conference put on by The Society of Typographic Aficionados (SOTA). For TypeCon 2011: Surge in New Orleans, I designed an event program as well as a poster + postcard mailer set promoting one of the workshops held at the conference.

The cover of the program was designed to reflect the surge theme by incorporating electrified, forward-moving type, while the internal layouts were kept typographically modest for the sake of legibility (and the sanity of the aficionados in attendance).

As a promotional spotlight for the "Film Title Design" workshop, a poster + postcard mailer set was designed in the traditional style of a 1930's film title screen.

		<description>SpiritAir is a conceptual rebrand of Spirit Airlines, an ultra-low cost airline that serves vacation destinations in the North, Central and Latin Americas. The rebrand aims to appeal to young, adventurous travelers ages18-24, an age bracket that was not being reached.

The new SpiritAir website has a friendlier, more easily navigable interface that aims to simplify the booking process and remove the daunting nature associated with planning, booking, and traveling in general.

&#60;img src="http://payload33.cargocollective.com/1/3/103803/2966408/Spirit-website_in_window_750.jpg" width="750" height="681" width_o="750" height_o="681" src_o="http://payload33.cargocollective.com/1/3/103803/2966408/Spirit-website_in_window_o.jpg" data-mid="17191530"  border="0" align="left"/&#62;

The SpiritAir app is capable of handling nearly every function that the website offers. Example screens:

In order to increase exposure and educate the masses (particularly the college-aged) about SpiritAir's ultra low fares, brand ambassadors would deck themselves out in SpiritAir t-shirts and drive around in the SpiritMobile. Note: the SpiritMobile has not been tested in the skies.

		<description>Desire Path produces clothing and equipment geared towards the outdoor adventurer. A desire path (or desire line) is an eroded path that is created by people continuously venturing off the designated trail [example]. Desire Path designs products for those bold and infinitely curious people who love to explore nature and blaze their own trails.

		<description>Famme Campà, Italian for Let me live, is a traditional limoncello with a modern appeal. It is made in Sorrento, Italy (the birthplace of limoncello) and distributed worldwide. The name comes from a line in the song "Torna A Surriento," a much-adored classic that captures the carefree spirit of coastal Italians.

		<description>University Ave in St. Paul has seen a significant increase in storefront vacancies as a result of long-term light rail construction and road blockages along the Central Corridor line. Starling Project is a not-for-profit that links these vacancies to individuals and organizations on a month-to-month basis for an affordable rate.

Design created in collaboration with Lindsay St. Clair and Ian O'Neill.

Starling is still a blossoming project; more work will be posted as it is completed
