After winning the pitch of the Uitymedia rebranding launch we created a huge campaign including a manifesto TVC, radio spots, print ads, billboards, folders, flyers, internet banners and so on.

Worldwide 1.752 million people die of AIDS every year.
A number that isn’t sizeable for most of us. 
Together with the Deutsche-AIDS-Stiftung we wanted 
to change this on World-Aids-Day 2011.

1.752 million AIDS victims per year means:
Every 18 seconds somebody dies of AIDS.

On billboards we displayed the names of the AIDS victims and installed machines to let helium-foam crosses rise to the sky every 18 seconds. Representative for one person who died of AIDS.

Every 18 seconds one cross.
Every 18 seconds one AIDS victim.

The campaign made the frightfully high death rate tangible and comprehensible
and created a picture which touched people.
