A graduate project that explored travel and trauma (displacement, settlement, urban and consequentially architectural by-products created by cosmopolitan communities that live next to one another, economic differences, natural resources and their subsequent consumption).

North London became the stage for elements of the Rim of the Caspian Sea to condense and solidify whilst the Caspian Sea itself inherited qualities of North London. The use of light and photography was a way of describing the fleeting and the permanent, the fugitive and the stable in environments that are both sensual and sensing. The architecture of such a place shares these characteristics and is subsequently moving, here and there from nowhere and everywhere. Photography suggest these delicate moments and spaces are fixed and static while offering the potential for them to be different each time we look at or inhabit them.</description>

		<description>THE NORWEGIAN PRINTER - Oslo, Norway 2009

A workshop with students at AHO Oslo School of Architecture and Design making a consequence machine that would redevelop a city. Made in three distinct parts and traveling over 50 metres across by 15 metres high, ideas were developed that used simple mechanics to re-plan their architectural proposal for Oslo, the spiritual home of artist Edvard Munch, Norwegian painter and printmaker.
