The show commemorated the centenary of Captain Robert Falcon Scott’s ill-fated Terra Nova expedition to the South Pole. The collection was introduced by musician Patrick Wolf who composed a piece based on Scott’s last letters and performed live on the snowy catwalk with a string quartet. The collection was divided into two halves. An introduction of light linens, bleached feather and fine gauge knitwear was followed by heavy waxed drill, disheveled pieces in floor length draping silks and super soft cotton.
