We were stoked, given the opportunity to provide the music for the inaugural Student
Box campaign back in 2009-10...
Since then, Andrew has been busy producing and co-writing with indie-electro-pop
duo Sun City who are swiftly becoming an act to watch in 2011. The Brand Agency's
client Curtin University has borrowed one of these tracks for the new Student Box TV
campaign, giving the band some great exposure!

Our part in the ThinkBox award winning WaterAid campaign by Kitcatt Nohr Alexander
Shaw in the UK, started with a conversation with art director Guy Patrick and Ewan
that went a little something like this:

"You can make a poo song, right?" he said.
"Dude... I thought we were friends" I said.
"No, you got it all wrong - We'll be remote controlling poos through London scaring
the crap out of people! It's for a good cause" he elaborated.
"Oh, I thought you were taking a dig" I said, still confused.
"No, thats what WaterAid does dummy - we're creating the campaign to raise awareness
for digtoilets.org/poo and you're making the music."
"Oh...Sweet!... I'm thinkin' a ploppy Browntempo, kooky Country&Cistern feel and..."
"Right. Now you're catching my drift."
"Not on the telephone I won't!"
"With material like that, you should find an art director and start an agency"
"Really?! You think so?"
"No. Trust me...stick to making music"

M&C Saatchi client Westfield Premium centres invited renowned fashion photographer,
illustrator, and writer Garance Doré to make two visual diaries about upcoming 2011
summer trends. Shot in Paris and NY this was our first eastern states client. Whoo!

(please excuse the audio glitches within the on-site recorded audio - removed on final
version!)

This job was full-on, but so much fun! Three separate 45" and 30" radio ads rolled out in two weeks packed with lyrics and CTA's. The concept was three different songs in three different styles, representing some of the different types of car buyers. All of which can find the right car for them in one place.
The different genres allowed for a wider campaign reach on radio networks with diverse demographics.

Angelic folk singer and Idol Semifinalist Brooke Wilkie sung the pop ad:

The multi-talented Andrew Allingham from Purple Design blew the roof off singing the rock ad:

...And the 'rapper' on the hiphop ad remains a well guarded secret.

We created a casual Kimya Dawson styled campfire roadsong for the
Brand Agency's HIF 'Smart' television campaign. Local indie-folk songstress
Claire Hollingsworth lent us her vocal musings complete with flowers in her hair!

Theme music for the Eve nightclub television and radio launch campaign. The aim
here was to get a good dance inspired sting to work with the unfolding angel motif
on the TVC and in other applications like their website, ringtone downloads and
the radio ads we also produced...

The brief from Marketforce was to come up with some 'remember when' inducing
music that would help ham up the three scenes and let the call to action bust out
hard at the end. So we pulled out a copy of Babs' greatest hits
and found some inspiration!

We created three tounge-in-cheek radio ads in a series for Lotterywest, celebrating dads, leading up to fathers day. We thought of only one man to lend us his pipes for the job. So Chris Murphy popped round to the studio to play the part of the grown-up son belting out a raw impromptu message of thanks.
