The works included upgraded foundations and strengthening of shear walls from the Basement to Level 6 along with full floor fitout refurbishments and re-roofing.The Ground Floor required the additional work to provide for wheelchair access, fitout for the building’s reception function and as a fully equipped meeting suite, complete with full AV facilities. The floor was subdivided to provide a separate lettable retail space for Noel Leeming. The building provides for general open plan office space with associated meeting rooms and specialist Telepresence facilities. Level 10 is fitted out as a Training Facility. Approx. The Practice continues to provide high quality outcomes to a variety of accommodation demands. Our work for the Bank has includes a new 5 storey building, new fitouts, alterations to fitouts to minor furniture layouts. Recently we have assisted the bank in reducing its Welllington rental liability by increasing the efficiency of use of their existing portfolio. This has involved complete refurbishments in some of their occupied space and alterations to other floors. The original floors had not been upgraded since the 1970s and were in poor condition. The resultant fitouts have been very well received and have transformed the working environment. The original station is a timber framed building constructed in the 1890s and no longer satisfies current operational and technical needs. We were commissioned to design a new station which satisfies the needs of 21st Century communications, radar and radio systems while operating in an extremely harsh and exposed environment. We were engaged to provide concept plans for the development of the campus as a whole. Staff had been located in various substandard buildings and prefabs. This project provided office accommodation for tutorial and administration staff. The building is naturally ventilated with opening windows in offices venting through to the atrium space and uses natural light to reduce energy consumption. The main building entrance was not obvious to the street and the canopy was in poor repair and leaking. This project included the relocation of the main entrance, redesign of the canopy and the complete redesign and refurbishment of the ground floor tenancy space to include a new reception area and suite of meeting rooms. Their accommodation did not cater for the increased staff numbers or provide an efficient and modern work environment.
