XBOX Slash Pages

While at Pop I designed a handful of splash pages for the XBOX website, these simple pages were quick turnaround and a whole lot of fun.

About
Shane Long was born and raised by a group of friendly Sasquatches among the majestic Cascades of the Pacific Northwest. After growing up and leaving his furry family for life in the Emerald City of Seattle, he now works as graphic designer, crafting brand experiences for the likes of Nintendo, Target, Microsoft, EA, and a myriad of local musicians, artists, and business owners.

Professional History
POP // Sept 2007 - July 2010
I started at pop fresh out of college as a production assistant and over the next 2.5 years slowly made my way up through the ranks to designer. At pop I was able to work on nearly every aspect of interactive design including microsite design, IA/UX, motion and animation, flash banner production, mobile app design, and even microgame artwork. I was also involved in much of pop's pitch work, winning many projects through rapid prototyping and design.

Clients: Target, Microsoft, Nintendo, EA, Amazon, Pokémon inc, Wizards of the coast, Brown Forman.

Uglybogus Studio // March 2006 - Present
Co-founded in 2006, Rob Stanton and I have executed gig-posters for nearly 100 bands. Duties include working closely with concert promoters/venues/bands to design and hand screen-print the posters.

Clients: House of Blues Concerts, Monqui Productions, Johnny Cupcakes Clothing, and Make Believe productions.

IF/THEN Studio // August - December 2006
My internship duties included everything from design development and production to editing and coding Flash and HTML websites. I was also put in charge of re-designing IF/THEN's promotional materials including a leave-behind booklet, business cards, and shipping labels.

Clients: Microsoft Game Studio, MSN Vista, Born Magazine, Bungie Game Studios, and Serial Solutions.

Asterik Studio (now Invisible Creature) // March - September 2005
During my internship at Asterik I was primarily responsible for production design work on the 2005 Bumbershoot Campaign. I also worked on multiple CD packages, one-sheets, and t-shirts.

Clients: Bumbershoot (One Reel Productions), Victory Records, Solid State Records, Elektra Records, Atlantic Records.

Jacob London: Do what we say EP

Jacob London is Bob Hansen and Dave Pezzner. They've been turning out some funky ass house music ever since they stole their collaborative name from a Seattle music lawyer in the 90s. Aside from having amazing hair, both of them have been grinding away in the studio for a long ass time, putting out a metric ton of great music - somewhere around forty 12" releases, even bootlegged on wax in Italy. When Bob asked me to design the record for their new EP I knew one thing, it needed space wolves.

A Drink for the Kids 2009

I was extremely honored to be asked to design the 2009 A Drink for the Kids campaign for The Vera Project. Previous year's designers include Jeff Kleinsmith and Frida Clements so there was no way I could pass it up. Check out the short web ad on vimeo.
