But as he reconnects with the family he fled and the community he left behind, he begins to struggle with the reason he’s back: to flood his hometown. "THE RESERVOIR" is an original one-hour modern day television drama spec series based on Rhode Island’s reaction to a looming fresh water crisis. Though first and foremost a character-driven drama, THE RESERVOIR does more than just entertain. The series will explore many of the issues, concerns and solutions to the fresh water problem: reservoir expansion, waste water recycling, privatization, water restrictions, water system efficiency, utility rates, and bottled water. THE RESERVOIR will educate viewers about the global water crisis and how it’s already affecting our very own country, making it the first TV drama in history to do so.
