Concept Development: Board Game Design

I was given the task of creating an entirely new board game based on a personal interest of my own, I chose design, naturally, and centered my game around corporate logos, slogans, and branding. Since the 50's-60's were the golden age of design and advertising I modeled my game off of that eras packaging. We were required to work by hand, with computer aid being frowned up. This is the box.

Intro to Computer Graphics: Gift Card Design

I was given a choice of cafe's in which I would design a gift card for. I chose Jittery Joe's for their forward thinking attitude and overall design aesthetics. I worked off the screenprint feel found in their logo when choosing typography and in my whole design.

Art Club: Screenprinting

i had a great deal of fun designing my first poster for screenprinting. I chose to take the Latin for "Art For Art's Sake" and translate it into Pig Latin, thus Ars Gratia Artis became Arsway Atiagray Artisway. Poster design is one of the greatest examples of art for art's sake.

Design Fundamentals: Awareness Poster

I was asked to design a poster promoting awareness for any topic of my choosing. My topic of choice was suicide, and I choose to focus my poster around highlighting details and facts about suicide in order to bring light to common misconceptions that are partially due to the lack of information out there.
