The name says it, sugar from a tree. The process that has been used for decades to produce maple syrup is in the form sugar crystals. Sugar crystals are nothing new, they used to be used before the importation of cane sugar was popularized. Three varieties can be found: original, aromatized and the mighty bloc.

The idea of cycling freely in the streets was something I often took for granted, often thinking that cycling paths were useless. After traveling through some scandinavian cities, I noticed how many people were respecting bike paths and using them because they were actually an effective transportation route. Returning to my city, Montreal, I realized how our cycling paths pale in comparison to the Scandinavian ones.

Nonetheless, it was the perfect motivation factor. I perceive Montreal as an adolescent in an awkward growing stage where some things develop better than others. In this case, Montreal appointed City of Design in 2006, still can’t manage to make a functional biking path system in 2011. Thus started first part of this project: field research. After many interviews, web and reference searches, the second part of the book was created proposing a model where Cycling Corridors created a new functional network of cycling routes.

The book was conceived during Judith Poirier’s Typography: Illustration class at the Université du Québec à Montréal.

We spend hours involuntarily stalking people on social networks, and frankly, a large quantity of individuals spend a lot of their time making sure they are stackable, and do it with enjoyment. Creep magazine offers you the possibility to take home an un/known being's identity. A medium sized package that unveils into a poster documenting the being in question through found and volunteered photography, texts, interviews and fragments of their clothing. Everything to make the creep inside quiver with excitement.
