<description>The first major prototype for a hanging pendent done with Tangible Interaction as an exercise in product logistics and assembly. The aim here is to make something fast and ultimately entertaining to put together.

This project is still in development, my role here ranges from 3D prototyping, digital models and output (laser cutting), assembly, and packaging.

		<description>Collaboration with Ashley Nawrot

A two month long, studio based project in which my partner and I worked to conceive and build a wood-based system known as a marble run that was intended to display repetitive shapes. The physical constraints of this project placed the final product within one square-meter, called for the employment of Baltic-Birch plywood as the major component, and required the use of the pin router. Utilizing the help of children as co-creators to realize the outcome was perhaps the most important criteria we met to fulfill this project. We met with our co-designers, two young boys aged six and nine, three times during the project.

<description>Created as both a space divider and wall treatment, this slip cast porcelain tile is versatile in its applications. Each tile contains uniform holes on each point and is therefore able to connect via a simple dowel support structure. This design is composed of only two elements — the tile itself and its corresponding wooden pegs — because of this, the pegs used for assembly also become a subdominant design detail.

<description>These small, ceramic light spheres were created with the intention of finding a portable solution to ambient light. Each capsule contains two ‘super-bright’ LED’s connected to a small battery which can be turned on or off with a magnetic switch and recharged by means of a mini USB cable. These capsules can be in use for as short as a few seconds or as long as a few days and are suitable for both outdoor and indoor applications.

An interactive wearable that gives haptic and visual feedback to its user by responding to airborne toxins (Alcohol, Carbon Dioxide, Nitrous Oxide, Benzene). Using switch case programming, the vest can respond appropriately to various environmental conditions - ambient, urban, dirty and toxic. Slow ebbing and flowing of the LED chest array indicate that the environment is habitable whereas a fast paced ‘breathing pattern’ and buzzing from cell phone vibrators placed over the lungs indicate a presence of danger. This project intends to humanize numerical data and sensors currently being used primarily for industrial purposes in order to bring environmental conversation to the foreground.
