Consisting of photographs taken in footwear factories and in pagodas, these images are a study in the similarities between two seemingly dissimilar places. Both places produced moral questions and feelings of being a voyeur; while the strong smells, repetition and ritual created an almost eerie sense of calm. In the end, I suppose my desire is for the series to confront the emotions, taboos and thoughts that both places evoke - nothing more, nothing less. <img
