White Please
This film is the first in my Teacup Series, looking at the social connections people have with tea. Here we glimpse a mother and daughter share a moment of rest and peace, in their busy schedule of family life.

Brief - Choose a day in history and create a motion piece related to it.

I have picked a day that has a lot of meaning to me and my family, but I wanted to see how people might feel about that day, people who might not have the same connection. I wanted to avoid the obvious reply about honour and look at how people viewed it regardless of wars.

		<description>Sept 2011

As a group we had to create several pieces of work that showed our interpretation of what the Future would be like. We took a lot of influence from Tron, Minority Report. WE imagined that we would have some sort of contact lens that would connect to our thoughts, so you would be able to instruct household objects to function with a mere thought.

Ident -

The brief - using all the elements from a book cover, interpret into a motion piece less than a minute and a half.

Here I have created a smooth and soothing motion piece. This is to emulate my ideals of Man's behaviour, as Man's behaviour is far from soothing in reality.

		<description>Nov 2010 / Feb 2011

Ident - Crate a motion piece, interpreting a book cover, using all existing elements.

Inspired by Tv Branding/Idents. My influences were Rudd Studios, Channel 4, more4 and film4 branding. I love the simples shapes and movement in them.

I thought the simple shapes would work well for my piece, as it was a emulation of my relationship with maths at school, most of the time it was slightly recognisable parts, that didn't seem to fit, and very occasionally they would come together and I could understand them, but usually momentarily, and then I would be lost again in a soup of symbols.

		<description>Jan 2011 / June 2011

This was my final project in my second year. I decided to look at squatting and use of empty buildings, as I live in Stokes Croft and there are a lot of empty buildings, some of which are occupied some of which are empty.

I wanted to look at who was using them, and what they were being used for.

During my filming, the Stokes Croft Riots happened, but this was only a small part of what I was trying to get across. I wanted to talk to all people involved in whatever way, with using the buildings, rather than just asking the locals, as anyone in Bristol will know opinion is very divided in the area.

Brief - To present the famous speech of Emmeline Pankhurst, the reknowned Suffragette

I added a timeline to the bottom of the page of Suffragette Movement historical moments and another timeline at the top of the page for world historical moments, so that at a glance the reader can follow the events of the movement and place them in time with World history.
