ANWB

Brief
The ANWB is a dutch association which is well-known from their national roadside assistance for cars. A lot of people think that the roadside assistance is the only thing they do. But they have a lot of other initiatives to support people on the road, during their holiday or other leisure activities. Our job was to create attention around one of these initiatives: ANWB Streetwise. With this program the ANWB helps kids to learn about traffic rules and gives them tips how to get to school safely.

Solution
We will collaborate with the national TV Show ‘Wegmisbruikers’. In this prograderm an uncover patrol car follows troublemakers on the road. When the camera in the car caught everything on tape, they let the driver pull over and confront him with his brutalities. Before they say goodbye they will get a nice ticket presented. But during one episode we make some adjustments:

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/711496/plaat-2.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="356" width_o="640" height_o="356" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/711496/plaat-2_o.jpg" align="left" /> <img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/711496/plaat-3.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="356" width_o="640" height_o="356" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/711496/plaat-3_o.jpg" align="left" />
After the undercover patrol car caught the drivers violations on tape, they will give them the stop sign.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/711496/plaat-5xx.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="427" width_o="640" height_o="427" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/711496/plaat-5xx_o.jpg" align="left" />
The drivers will be surprised when they pull over. Because it is not a police officer showing up at their side window, but a smart ass 8 year old kid. The kid will tell him exactly what he did wrong and which fine he will get.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/711496/plaat-6.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="427" width_o="640" height_o="427" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/711496/plaat-6_o.jpg" align="left" />
Everybody will think: ‘how do these kids know all the traffic rules?’ Right. Thanks to the ANWB Streetwise program. And the brutal drivers? They will think twice before making mistakes. The show ends with a small advertisment about the ANWB Streetwise program.

Dixons

Brief
Dixons sells personal electric products like mp3-players, cameras, PDA’s, game consoles and more. With 170 stores they are Holland’s market leader. In 2010 they launched a new campaign: ‘Mannen denken maar aan één ding. Dixons.’. In English that means ‘Men can only think of one thing. Dixons’. Dixons understands that men only want new gadgets versus women who rather think of functionality. We were asked to create an idea to increase sales in the weeks before father’s day.

Solution
Of course a man don’t want to get sox for father’s day. He will prefer a nice gadget from Dixons. But how does a man let his wife know what he want? It’s not nice to just say what you want. So we created a bit more subtile way to tell your wife what you want. This is how it works:

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/704763/scherm1kopiex.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="374" width_o="640" height_o="374" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/704763/scherm1kopiex_o.jpg" align="left" />
The father logs on to the family’s personal computer. On the website of Dixons he wil fill in his name and the name of his wife. Then he will select his favorite father’s day gift.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/704763/scherm2kopie.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="374" width_o="640" height_o="374" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/704763/scherm2kopie_o.jpg" align="left" />
After submitting the information a plugin will be installed in the internet browser of the computer. After this the father is done and will leave the computer.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/704763/scherm3kopie.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="374" width_o="640" height_o="374" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/704763/scherm3kopie_o.jpg" align="left" />
When his wife will sit down behind the computer, she will be really surprised when she logs on to internet. All the places where normally different banners are placed are filled up with banners telling her what present her man would love to get for Father’s day.

Amnesty International

We will use the tv-show “Hole in the Wall” to communicate the message of Amnesty International in a unique way. The show is an adaptation of the Japanese game Brain Wall. During the show players must contort themselves to fit through cutout holes of varying shapes in a large polystyrene wall moving towards them as they stand in front of a swimming pool.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/690403/wall-1.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="426" width_o="640" height_o="426" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/690403/wall-1_o.jpg" align="left" />
The program continues after a commercial break.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/690403/wall-2.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="426" width_o="640" height_o="426" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/690403/wall-2_o.jpg" align="left" />
The competitors will get ready for the last wall of the show.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/690403/wall-3.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="426" width_o="640" height_o="426" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/690403/wall-3_o.jpg" align="left" />
When the wall is moving towards them, soon they will notice there is no hole in this wall.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/690403/wall-4.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="426" width_o="640" height_o="426" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/690403/wall-4_o.jpg" align="left" />
They will have no chance and will end up in the pool.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/690403/wall-5.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="426" width_o="640" height_o="426" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/690403/wall-5_o.jpg" align="left" />
When they come out of the water they will be surprised. Then they look to the back of the wall.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/690403/wall-6x.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="426" width_o="640" height_o="426" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/690403/wall-6x_o.jpg" align="left" />
When the wall has passed, the camera will zoom on the back of the wall. There will be a message of Amnesty International, asking people to stand up for political prisoners who also need a hole in the wall.

Without telling anybody, KIT KAT will place ‘Have Break” on the red card during the UEFA EURO 2012 Football Cup.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/690722/rodekaart2.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="884" width_o="640" height_o="884" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/690722/rodekaart2_o.jpg" align="left" />
If a red card is presented to a player, the cameras will notice that there is a text on the red card.
Fans will see the text but probably not all the fans will understand the message. Yet.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/690722/blogs.png" border="0" width="640" height="431" width_o="640" height_o="431" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/690722/blogs_o.png" align="left" />
After the game the fans will discover what information was printed on the red card when blogs and newssites will pick up the campaign. This way we will create free publicity worldwide. We spread the message "Have a Break" exactly on the moment a player crossed the line, and probably needs a break.

van Gansewinkel

Brief
Van Gansewinkel is a Dutch company that is collecting garbage from homes and companies, and then recycles the garbage into new materials. Because for them garbage is a start of something new, they believe that ‘Garbage does not excist’. This is also their tagline.

The only thing people see of the whole process, is the garbage trucks stopping by their homes and companies collecting their garbage. Because of that many people do not know that Van Ganswinkel also recycles this trash into new materials. Our job was to involve people in this recycling process.

Solution
We wanted to bring the recycling process closer to people. We found a place where people make a lot of garbage. And worse, everything they don't need anymore will just been thrown away. Where? On their computer.

On every pc desktop there is a ‘recycle bin’. It may be called a recycle bin, it does not recycle anything. Almost everything that gets in will never come out again. And all the garbage will just been thrown away. But why? The files may be very useful for other people.

That’s why van Gansewinkel will introduce a unique piece of software: The Real Recycle Bin

The Real Recycle Bin is a database where computer trash will be collected and will be recycled to new files. This is how it works:

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/708313/gasnewinkel_site_640.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="378" width_o="1000" height_o="591" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/708313/gasnewinkel_site_o.jpg" align="left" />
You can download the installer of The Real Recycle Bin from the website.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/708313/gansewinkel_network_640.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="401" width_o="935" height_o="586" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/708313/gansewinkel_network_o.jpg" align="left" />
All the installed Real Recycle Bins will be connected to a server which will work in two ways. You can put your computer garbage in the bin to get recycled by others. And in the bin there will be plenty files that are useful for you.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/708313/gansewinkel_newbin_640.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="429" width_o="935" height_o="627" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/708313/gansewinkel_newbin_o.jpg" align="left" />
After installing there will appear a new, green recycle Bin on your desktop. The Real Recycle Bin is now ready to use. You can throw files in the bin and you can get files out of the bin, from users all over the world.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/708313/gansewinkel_list_640.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="429" width_o="935" height_o="627" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/708313/gansewinkel_list_o.jpg" align="left" />
If you open The Real Recycle Bin, you can search for useful files by sorting them on name, extension, size etc.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/708313/gansewinkel_file_640.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="429" width_o="935" height_o="627" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/708313/gansewinkel_file_o.jpg" align="left" />
If you found a useful file it will be checked by viruses before you download it.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/708313/gansewinkel_example_640.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="202" width_o="1000" height_o="317" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/708313/gansewinkel_example_o.jpg" align="left" />
An example how the bin could work: Peter wrote a pawn voor his girlfriend but he does not need the file anymore. He will drag the file in the Real Recycle bin. Stella is making a baby card. She picks up the file in the bin and uses some sentences from Peter's pawn on her baby card.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/708313/gansewinkel_example2_640.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="202" width_o="1000" height_o="316" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/708313/gansewinkel_example2_o.jpg" align="left" />
Another example: Harry went to Alcatraz and made too many pictures. He will throw away some pictures in the Real Recycle bin. John is writing a report about Alcatraz for school. He gets Harry’s pictures out of the recycle bin and recycles them in his report.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/708313/gansewinkel_contest_640.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="429" width_o="935" height_o="627" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/57549/708313/gansewinkel_contest_o.jpg" align="left" />
To stimulate the use of recycled files we will organize a contest. Who will make the most beautiful artwork, movie or anything else with the computer garbage will win a nice second hand MacBook Pro.
