Shown is a selection of the twenty photographs depicting the lives of women living in a remote Thai village, Huay Sara Phom. The tragedy is that many women living in compromised and remote communities in Asia are forced into prostitution or stay in abusive relationships to support themselves and their children. The resulting exhibition held at Queen Victoria Women’s Centre, in Melbourne Australia helped support IWP's commitment to empowering women who live in compromised communities. All profit from the images sold allows local women to attend workshops and leadership retreats at the International Women’s Partnership for Peace and Justice Center near Chiang Mai, Thailand.
