Several iterations of a design for a gallery show entitled "Poetic License." I started with a type-only solution using Marianne Bantjes beautiful font, "Restraint" (Image 2). I tried several different configurations using the same theme but the client was not happy with this direction. I reworked the idea and gave them several more choices (images 3-4) but there was still much not-quite-satisfied-but-close grumbling.
