NYC Sketchbook was a studio course focused on ‘drawing on location'. I would sketch on location using traditional mediums, such as pencils and ink pens, scanned my images onto the computer, then used Photoshop to digitally alter my sketches. I took inspiration from Russian Constructivism, paired clean, streamlined elements with grungy textures to create "New York Constructivism."
