<description>People love Toaster Strudel. But people really love icing a hot Toaster Strudel. It's a hot blast of morning creativity for kids and people who should probably know better.

So we thought we'd let everyone have some digital icing, and give them a platform to share their creative side.

People can post and share their creations on Facebook.

<description>Hot Pockets are a staple of the young man's diet. They're easy. They're hot. They're (mostly) delicious. They're like the modern-day equivalent of rations, at least in the eyes of Davy Pocket, a grizzled 19th century frontiersman stranded in modern America.

"Maybe a man can't live on bread alone," says Davy. "But when that bread's stuffed with things like tasty ham and melted cheese, he'll come pretty dern close."

The Hot Pockets "Be Ready" mobile app features a location-aware Hot Pocket locator and a photo booth where you can add a beard and a coonskin cap to anyone's photo. It's also home to Davy Pocket's Preparedness kit, where he dispenses manly advice to help the modern frontiersman deal with just about anything.

&#60;img src="http://payload1.cargocollective.com/1/0/6579/2324505/MOBILE_FULL.jpg" border="0" width="670" height="502" width_o="1024" height_o="768" src_o="http://payload1.cargocollective.com/1/0/6579/2324505/MOBILE_FULL_o.jpg" align="left" /&#62; &#60;img src="http://payload1.cargocollective.com/1/0/6579/2324505/hot pocket locator3.jpg" border="0" width="670" height="502" width_o="1024" height_o="768" src_o="http://payload1.cargocollective.com/1/0/6579/2324505/hot pocket locator3_o.jpg" align="left" /&#62; &#60;img src="http://payload1.cargocollective.com/1/0/6579/2324505/hot pocket locator3_2.jpg" border="0" width="670" height="502" width_o="1024" height_o="768" src_o="http://payload1.cargocollective.com/1/0/6579/2324505/hot pocket locator3_2_o.jpg" align="left" /&#62;

On the Hot Pocket Trading Post on Facebook, Davy - obviously a Facebook newbie - is willing to trade you trinkets, wisdom, and Hot Pockets for your friends, photos and status messages, so he can fill up his Facebook page.

<description>Poke. Tag. Like. Why not Bang?

To celebrate the launch of his men's fragrance Bang, Marc Jacobs launched a Facebook game allowing players to "bang" each other on the site for the chance to win great prizes.

Just like in real life, banging on Facebook proved to be quite popular, with players garnering extra points for banging after midnight or banging someone from a foreign country. Unlike real life, there was very little judgement, although Women's Wear Daily did judge the effort a 2010 Beauty Biz Award winner for Best Executed Launch.

The Marc Jacobs Bang website:

<description>When Seattle was awarded a Major League Soccer franchise, the team needed to build a fan base, establish a brand voice and define a fan experience in a tough, savvy sports market.

The campaign focused on the match experience, challenging Seattle fans to forget how they cheer at other sporting events, and go all out for an entire 90-minute match: Give Us Your Full 90!

"Scarf Seattle" sprung from the Full 90 challenge. To get the word out, we selected an icon; a symbol people could hold on to - the scarf. A representation of soccer pride and passion throughout the world, the scarf was transformed from a piece of merchandise into an idea.

In their first year, Sounders FC shattered league records for attendance and merchandise sales. The ‘Scarf Seattle’ effort received the National Sports Forum’s SAMMY award as the best sports marketing idea of 2009.

Scarf Seattle: Two weeks before the first match, thousands of scarves were hung around the city on trees, storefronts, and light poles for fans to take. Tags directed fans to take pictures with the scarf and upload it to ScarfSeattle.com, which they did by the thousands.

Seattle's Qwest Field emerged as the best match environment in the league as the team reached the playoffs in their inaugural season. (FYI - I'm the crazy face painter on the front page of SportsIllustrated.com's Soccer section below.)

Season ticket promotions included events with minority team owner Drew Carey.

Praise for the Sounders FC launch campaign:

“It would be hard to say this isn’t the most successful launch of any professional soccer team ever in the United States.” – Washington Times

“I think Seattle’s ‘Scarf Seattle’ campaign is going to go down in history as one of the all-time great marketing campaigns. There’s no better case study for a marketing class.” – Merritt Paulson, majority owner of the Portland Timbers

“The marketing of the team has been nothing short of head-turning.” – Seattle Times
