<description>This project was done as part of a class in Typographic experimentation, in which I examined Charlie Kaufman's original screenplay Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I edited down the screenplay into key moments. The characters are identified by different colors, and the typographic language changes based on the interactions between the different characters in different scenes. The scenes are also separated with full color pages, which tie back to the characters' dialogue and typographic treatments.

<description>This short animation was my final project in Motion Design 1 at Art Center College of Design. The concept was inspired by Moon Patrol, and other 8-bit video games, whose sounds, typography, and bright colors all seemed like a fun language to use in attempting my first animation project.

Note that this is a conceptual project. You can not actually play the game on Facebook. Not yet anyway.

Also, in re-visiting this project, I uncovered this radical poster — or what the class called a "style frame". I created this image weeks before starting story boards for the animation. As a part of the conceptual process for the class we were instructed to do this and try to communicate a feeling about a brand of our choice, having no idea what the resulting animation would become.

<description>Ready. Set. Cupcake!™ is a revolutionary new product line from two lovely baking enthusiasts and entrepreneurs — The Piping Gourmets™. For their inaugural leap into the retail market we created this lively brand and packaging design, that is modern and clever, but with a nod to the nostalgia of baking. The products even come in pre-filled pastry bags – to make everyone who uses them feel like a gourmet chef!

These all natural (and not to mention - customizable!) Oven-Ready Batter and Buttercream Frosting products are available at select grocers in the U.S.

<description>Proposed Packaging design for the Go Pure fruit bars inaugural line. The aim was for something different from the chaotic current market, for something elegant and of course pure when it came to the naming, branding and packaging design. These exact same fruit bars, made from 100% pure fruit, has been succeeding in the market for years under the private label Archer Farms.

A neat production fact about the wrapper designs below – they are each printed on a continuous role, meaning that the graphics on each end had to also be continuous.

<description>Magic is a convention held every year in Las Vegas, hosted by the NBA. It includes vendors and media this 4”x 5” 5-fold brochure and booth# card, and an 8.5” x 11” table display. The look is reminiscent of a basketball court, only as if Laker games were lighted more like rock shows.

<description>My entry for the Avery Dennison Brand Experience Contest has been chosen as 1 out of 8 Finalists in it's category!

For this design, I was really striving for something elegant, but modern, and creatively memorable in a category where products packaging design often gets to push boundaries visually. Below is the provided brand information. Also, through a little research I learned that the name 'Vara' means 'The Best' in Sanskrit.

"Clothes by Donna Karan. Shoes by Gucci. Confidence by Vara. Every modern businesswoman (28-45) knows that perfectly done hair is the most important part of an ensemble that allows her to conquer the commute, the office and whatever other challenges present themselves. With a patented blend of exotic fruit and plant extracts, Vara shampoo rebuilds hair against the day-to-day damage that can rob it of its vitality. The brand's premium positioning ($25 for 16 oz bottle), is reinforced with bold graphics and simple type that communicates the use and value of its contents. Make every trip to purchase Vara a relaxing experience by shopping at your local spa and salon. Vara is the brand of choice for the stylist you know and trust."
