I created a restaurant, which I named, Fångsten (means “The Catch/Harvest”). I found my inspiration through a subculture whose adherents are called "Freegans" or "Dumpster Divers". They dig into large dumpsters from grocery stores and pick out the good fresh food, that would otherwise be destroyed. The restaurant's concept would be that instead of grocery stores throwing away food that is still fully edible and fresh, they would donate it to Fångsten. The restaurant’s star chefs would cook inspiring and good food out of each days “catch”. The restaurant's ability to provide information on sustainable community involvement would also be in focus. On the website you could follow the chef’s cooking – from the received catch in the morning until ready to eat meals in the evening. When developing the films I wanted to return to the place and time where I took the pictures. So I used salt water I had brought home from Trouville sur Mer and went into the dark room, where I exposed the photographes with moving salt water. I wanted to create my own ritual for developing pictures from a magical vacation. Interpreting their collections and intentions our starting point was: "Is a chair always a chair, an apartment always an apartment? Tilt your head for a while and the world will emerge in a different light…" The solution became the concept 48m²/Same but Different. We made films when we play with different perspectives and in the catalog, we built 48 square meters into one long picture.
