The Endless Summer

Role Concept, Ideia and Copy

What if you could live an Endless Summer around the world? 

In a format that mixes documentary and reality show, we invited the filmmaker Aron Brown (Bruce Brown's grandson, renowned director and author of the legendary film 'Endless Summer' which inspired generations) and the musician and surfer Donavon Frankenreiter to come aboard on this journey with only one purpose: surf all day, music all night. And so the Endless Summer III has began. The film is going to be recorded in the 2013 summer in Brazil and takes place throughout the world as Hawaii, Australia, South Africa and California.

We created a campaign to tell this story in a more interactive way. A partnership with Osklen we offer our concept in t-shirts. The Arena Skol presented sunsets, national and international concerts in the main brazilian beaches. During the day, surf and stand up paddle lessons. Free art galleries and film exhibitions were available as well.

Besides the visual presence on the beaches, a can was specially developed for the campaign. Magazine ads and posters continued the communication. On the website people can watch the episodes, interact with live cameras and participate in a promotion that will take 6 people to accompany the recordings of the documentary around the world.

Role Concept, Ideia and Copy 

In 2013 summer, we made available a Google free wifi service in bars and night clubs all over the country. In order to promote that, we came up with a print campaign which express the freedom that people is going to have to use the fastest and now, free Google Internet. We devised posters, banners, signs in every place that the service is available besides clothing. 3 million of Brazilians citizens is going to get benefit.

Role Concept, Ideia and Copy

In Brazil, GE has the image of a cold, enormous and distant company. To change that we selected five of its innovations to become the subject of an open air gallery and to overcome a great challenge: the clean city law, measure that banned outdoor advertising as visual pollution in São Paulo. 

We invited artists, selected the strategic locations in the city and decorated grey city walls with art. We created more than just art depicting GE’s innovations: we created a cultural movement where the population could choose the art that would beautify their city. 

In the Facebook page, people could vote to select the art that would go up on the side of a building. There they could also learn about the artists, watch a making-of video of the paintings, see a map of the pieces’ locations and find cultural tips provided by the artists themselves. 

One of the building paintings came alive through an augmented reality mobile app.  A way of inserting the brand in a place where it could not be shown.  By pointing the mobile at the wall painting, people could interact with the animation. 

A technical subject, cold and distant, but one that GE brought closer to people, through art. 

GE. If you can imagine it, it can be done.

To show its benefits, we created a tool on Facebook that makes the experience of people in social media is fully automated. In Intelligent Share, users combine actions from their own profiles and make your online experience much more comfortable, as if driving a Volkswagen with I Motion.

The turning point

In 2012 Havaianas celebrates its 50th birthday launching a limited edition of sandals which 100% of sales will be donated to the UNICEF. The model remembers the 90's when people started turning the sole to top, creating sandals with a unique colour inspiring Alpargatas to create the Top models. To tell a little more about its rich history, we created a film that melds together fantasy and reality. 

Also, in order to bring this attitude in a digital movement we created the campaign "I turned myself to help", inviting people to participate by posting front and back personal photos on social media with the headline: "I turned myself to help. And you?" The actor and UNICEF's ambassador, Lázaro Ramos, explained how to participate with the video below. Many famous spread the message by posting turned photos on their social media.

Additionally an app on the fan page transformed these photos into animated gifs creating a big gallery. People could also interact with the "Havaianas 50 Years" that brings many advertising campaigns throughout the years.

O Boticário.

An application where women can test various types of looks for eye, mouth and face. With it, women can try before doing a make-up. To begin with, they choose the skin tone, then select the desired portion of the face and in the end, put the iPhone to see how it would look. The woman can still learn to make the look chosen giving play and seeing a professional makeup artist use the O Boticário products to do the makeup.

Amarok. The power of intelligece.

For the online launch of the new automatic version of Amarok, we created an automatic site. Just like in the pick-up, people could also choose their option of transmission. If the user chooses to browse in the automatic mode, Amarok identifies the obstacles in the corner of the screen without the person having to use the mouse or the keyboard. The webcam scans the face and the navigation occurs automatically, only with the eyes.
