With its 3 divine heads, Trimurti represents the hindu concept of trinity. The left face is Brahma, the creator; the center face is Visnu, the preserver; on the right is Siva, the destroyer. The left and right side are the field of time, always reflecting duality: right and wrong, past and future, female and male, life and death... The center face is the present; the outside of time and thought – symbolising transcendence or eternity.
