Our assignment was to create a silent film that used visuals and music to drive the story forward. The film stemmed from an idea about what a party was like from the perspective of a cup. The stereotypical red solo cup became the inspiration for the color correction. We wanted to focus on the red color of the solo cup as the subject of the story. This video is an artistic piece of video and was meant to showcase my color correction and editing abilities along with silent storytelling abilities. The music used is not my own. Groups of teens from around the country gather for a week of camp combining faith and fun. My task was to film the week's activities and create a video every week that each group could take home to remember their camp experience. I filmed all week and had a short amount of time to compile all of the footage gathered into a video scrapbook. I created videos for 9 weeks of camp along with many other short videos that were used throughout the weeks. Attached is the last week's video project.Responsibilities include: live event video capturing, photography, video/audio editing, web uploading, DVD authoring/duplication, and working under weekly and daily deadlines.Camp Covecrest Summer Camp - 08/01/2011 - Life Teen from Life Teen on Vimeo.Camp video from week 9 of summer camp at Life Teen Camp Covecrest in Tiger, Georgia. I created this portfolio with a focus of "Urban Environments." I shot my photographs in Mobile, Alabama; Atlanta, Georgia; and St. Louis, Missouri with a Canon T1i (18-55mm lens). The photographs were all edited using Adobe Lightroom 3. My focus in making these photographs was to show beauty in the world through urban America.
