We chose to design some of the stories within a templated container and highlight others, like this one, with a specific one-off design. I decided to handletter the whole text in this case, based on the personal, diary-like tone of the article. I took theological essays written by C.S. Lewis (which some people perceive to be dense and intimidating) and set out to design them in such a way that would make them less daunting.
